BE BLUE For a Bluer Ocean and an Evergreen Planet is a social impact project that rallies the educational communities of To Be Schools for the cause of ocean protection. It involves active participation from students, families, teams, and local communities across all To Be Schools.
As part of this project, the Be Blue Anthem was composed and recorded, the Be Blue Documentary was produced, and the final Be Blue Exhibition was presented to the public, showcasing works created over two academic years by the educational communities of To Be Schools.
The Be Blue Documentary—directed by Daniel Miranda Silva—follows the project’s development and has been selected for three international festivals: Suncine: Environmental Film Festival (Spain), Lane Doc Fest (USA), and Bahari: Festival Film (Indonesia).
At To Be Schools, every academic year on May 20th, Be Blue Day is celebrated with activities related to the project’s theme.
